Q: Overcoming weight plateau and eating healthy to get in the best shape possible.

I am a 23 year old female who previously struggled with an eating disorder where I ate very few calories in an effort to lost weight. Now I'm focusing on working out hard and eating more in order to maintain a healthy deficit which will help me to get in the best shape of my life. My workouts are very intense but I don't feel like I'm getting anywhere. What is the best plan for doing this in a healthy and very productive way? I am 5'7" and I weight about 133 pounds. My goal is to be very defined and in great physical shape without gaining bulk. Any help would be very appreciated!!

As Michael Pollan says, "Eat Food, not too much, mostly plants". Nothing sums up better what we all should be doing with our eating habits. I encourage you to learn more about the benefits of whold food by reading Mr. Pollan's book, "In Defense of Food". This book can begin your healthy, lifelong relationship with eating food.
