Q: Started exercise weight/cardio for 45 minutes/5 days per week - gained 5 pounds in 4 weeks? What?

Started working out (finally).  Very discouraging.  Gained weight!  5 pounds in 4 weeks! Gained another pound by week 7.  Lost no inches.  I'm doing 45 minutes per day of cardio and weight and see no results.  I was  better off doing nothing.  Any suggestions?

I'm no expert but my own experience tells me that you're working out more and needing to replace the burned calories.  Replace the calories with fruits, vegies, water and lean meat.  I hope it works.
