Q: Any advice on how to stay away from the sweets after meals.

I'm not trying to loose weight much more than 5 or 10 pounds but for health reasons I want to reduce sugar intake. My meals are fairly balanced but for snacks I tend to want those sweet snacks. My husband has them in the house and they are always around where I work. Do you have any advice on how I can stop this snack addiction? Thanks!

You could make some home-made frozen yogurt. It tastes just like ice-cream, except it is healthier. Maybe you could talk to your boss about putting some healthier snacks at the vending machine at work. Also, you could bag up some trail mix for the car ride, after meals, etc. I hope this helped! Good Luck!
