Most prenatal vitamins have higher levels of iron, calcium, zinc, and folic acid.  As long as you have no medical conditions, these higher levels will not harm you.  Now, once you hit menopause, extra iron is not necessary (no longer losing iron in blood once a month). The extra folic acid may be beneficial if you have a family history of heart disease.
