Actually I would say that Laura's comment is correct, with a few modifications. Yes, you can exercise less if you incorporate strength and cardio in the same sessions (interval training). You can work out for half hour and still burn lots of calories. You may be overdoing it with the 2 hour sessions (but you may not, it's really an individual thing). As for your diet, you are right to eat protein, fruit and veggies. But you do need more balance, and you MUST eat fats and at least some grains. Healthy fats are neccessary. When you eat "low fat" and "fat free" foods, you are robbing yourself of serious nutrition. Next time you eat those items, look at the ingredients label...they have replaced the fats with sugar, artificial flavors, "bad" carbs and basically junk. Eating full fat foods like cheese, yogurt and butter in moderation is just fine, and you won't be getting all that junk. And eating healthy fats like coconut oil, avocado, fish, nuts, and olives actually helps to fight body fat and will help your body function at its best. If you are wary of grains, try gluten free grains (more easily digested and more health benefits) such as flax, millet and quinoa, and stick to having them in the mornings.
Finally, make sure that whatever you are eating does not contain ay high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, trans fats (often disgused as "partially hydrogenated oils), and eliminate any processed foods. People so often think they are being healthy by using margerine and diet sodas (for example) but trust me they are doing themselves far more harm than good.
A balanced diet combined with the right amount of exercise (for you) should really kick your weight loss into action.
