Yes, it is! I have done situps, crunches and ab back machines at fitness clubs. I lowered my carb intake and increased my proteins at the same time. After 4 children I needed all the help I could get. You might want to check out the new Flat Belly Diet at Prevention.com. Not a single crunch required! I am searching out any and all resources to help me. I also found these Stomach-Slimming Recipes that I'm going to try there. The lemon cupcakes with citrus icing looked delicious.    Good luck in your quest!
