Q: Follow up to my question about why I can't lose fat at this age

I did actually work out a plan with the fitness coach based on Covert Bailey's Fit or Fat concepts. My fat grams were 10 per day, calories 1500, and I ate the correct abounts from each food group. Still after 4 months I had no weight loss. One person suggested that it may be due to getting less than 7-8 hours per sleep each night at times. Any thoughts on that?

Sure sleep can certainly impact the weight loss equation - are your servings on the mark?  Are you eating adequate protein?  I might try and drop some of the "bread carbohydrate servings" and replace with beans or fruits or veggies.

Are you taking you heart rate and targetting 70-80% of maximal heart rate during aerobic exercise?  Are you getting 45-60 minutes aerobic activity daily?   Are you weight training?

Those are some of the other areas i would look at
