Q: vitamin b12 impacts on blood sugar

I started taking vitamin b12 for energy, have lost 60 lbs in a year.  Got the annual bloodwork done, all cholesterol levels have dropped to normal range, but my sugar is slightly elevated.  Could the B12 affect my sugar levels?  Even heavy my blood sugar was in the normal range.  Now it is borderline high.
