We've been told that the Internet is ruining our brain and that Google makes us stupid and Facebook makes us lonely, but researchers from Hong Kong found that media multitaskers may have sharper senses.
According to the study, participants who simultaneously use several devices often and with ease (media multitasks) were more efficient at multi sensory integration. For example, media multitaskers more quickly and accurately carried out a visual search task while listening to audio, and overall were better at processing information from numerous sources at one time.
Score one for the Millennial Generation.
