The family that eats together

It might be time to learn your way around your kitchen: a study presented at American Society for Nutrition's Experimental Biology 2012 conference found that children in families who eat at home frequently ate more fruits, vegetables and calcium-rich foods than children of families who ate out of the home more often.

Children who ate at home more often also had a slightly lower body mass index than children well-versed in take out menus.
