Bariatric surgery may benefit moms and their babies both before and during pregnancy, researchers say. A new study shows that women who lose weight from the surgery are more likely to get pregnant than other obese women. Surgery recipients are also less likely to have complications related to obesity during their pregnancy, such as gestational diabetes, high blood pressure, and premature delivery. But experts also point out that this boost in fertility may not be welcome news for all women....
