Extra body fat--particularly around the belly--boosts the risk of
six types of cancer, a new report says. Experts say belly fat
influences the development of cancer cells and increases
inflammation. The panel that issued the report also listed 10
recommendations for cancer prevention. These include losing weight,
eating less red and processed meats, exercising for 30 minutes per
day, and avoiding sugary drinks and processed food.
