Eating a diet high in white bread and refined sugar is associated
with obesity, but scientists say this high-glycemic diet is also
linked to a potentially fatal condition called fatty liver disease.
In a recent study, researchers fed mice either a low-glycemic diet
or a diet full of refined carbohydrates. They found that the mice
