Study: Fish oil reduces signs and symptoms of RA

Fish oil may help reduce inflammation and pain in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), experts say. RA patients who took an anti-inflammatory dose of fish oil in a study reduced their use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs by 75 percent. Also, fish-oil users' RA went into remission more frequently than patients who did not take the fish oil supplements. Read more »
