The Food and Drug Administration has ordered that "Atrophic Gastritis" be added to the labeling information for Protonix label. The disorder has been noted in biopsies from patients treated long-term with the drug, particularly in patients who tested positive for the ulcer-forming bacterium H. pylori. Read more »
