A new, long-term diet study has found that low-carbohydrate diets
and a Mediterranean-style diet are just as good--if not
better--than a traditional low-fat diet. The study found that
patients who went on a low-carb diet lost the most weight and
lowered their cholesterol better than patients on the other two
diets. The Mediterranean diet appeared to have the most positive
