Exercise might slow Alzheimer's disease

Exercise may help keep Alzheimer's patients' brains from shrinking, a new study has found. Researchers studied 121 people over the age of 60 and found that among those who had early-stage Alzheimer's, those who were the least physically fit had about four times more brain shrinkage than their counterparts who exercised regularly. But among those who did not have dementia, exercise appeared to play no part in brain size. Read more »
