Exercise may ease migraine pain

Migraine patients often avoid exercise for fear of triggering an attack, but a new study suggests that some types of exercise may ease headache pain. Twenty-six patients took an indoor cycling class, which started with a 15-minute warmup session, a 20-minute higher-intensity session, and a cool down. At the end of the 3-month study, researchers found that participants were able to take in more oxygen. They also reported using less medication and having fewer headaches in the study's final month.... Read more »
