Officials at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are reporting the maker of Hydroxycut weight loss supplements are recalling the products reports of liver damage and one death. The FDA urged consumers to immediately stop using the 14 recalled products, which are made by Iovate Health Sciences Inc and marketed for weight loss, boosting energy, and other uses. Two products, Hydroxycut Cleanse and Hoodia, were not included in the recall, the FDA said.
