FDA adds 41 products to diet pill warning

(U.S. Food and Drug Administration) UPDATED 2009-01-08

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has added 41 more product to a list of diet aids that may contain dangerous prescription drugs or illegal ingredients. The expanded warning includes pills marketed as "diet supplements" that contain sibutramine, rimonabant, phenytoin, and the diuretic bumetamide.
