FDA Warns: Don't Eat Nestle Toll House Cookie Dough

The FDA and CDC warned consumers not to eat any prepackaged Nestle Toll House refrigerated cookie dough because of the risk of contamination with E. coli bacteria. The bacteria causes abdominal cramping, vomiting and a diarrheal illness, often with bloody stools. The FDA advises consumers to throw away any products they may have already purchased. Retailers, restaurants, and personnel at other food-service operations should not sell or serve any Nestle Toll House prepackaged, refrigerated cookie dough products subject to the recall.
