Volunteers Needed For Circumcision Sensitivity Study

Researchers are looking for male volunteers in the San Francisco Bay Area for a study into whether circumcision causes sensory loss in certain areas of the penis.

This will be a touch-test sensory evaluation in which 20 areas of both circumcised and intact penises will be checked for sensitivity. Researchers say the testing takes 15 minutes and is painless.

The study is being conducted by the National Organization of Circumcision Information Research Center in San Anselmo. If you?d like to volunteer or contact the organization, the number is 415-488-9883.
