The Best Place To Conceive: Climb Every Mountain?

If Mother?s Day puts you in the mood to have a baby, what would you consider to be the ideal romantic setting in which to conceive?

A recent poll says about seven percent of mom-hopefuls would like to make love on a mountaintop under the stars. About 14 percent of would-be dads prefer climbing the highest mountain to reach the peak of conception settings.

But when it comes right down to it, most couples agree that a quiet candlelit dinner at home would put them in a perfect baby-making mood, according to the "magic moments" survey made by ClearPlan, which markets a fertility monitor made by Unipath Diagnostics. The survey results are part of a press release put out by Unipath.

A lot of couples turn to ovulation calculators and other devices to optimize the best time to conceive. The fertility monitor is a product that displays a woman?s personal level of fertility daily as low, high, or peak.

The main thing you should know is that nearly all pregnancies occur during a six-day period ending on the day of ovulation. Most women ovulate from 12 to 16 days before their period begins.

So, there?s some hit-and-miss involved in determining the best time to get pregnant but you can pin down what the optimum days of the month are for you by keeping track of your menstrual cycle.

And don?t forget that you can?t make love by the clock. Be relaxed and romantic as the ovulation time approaches and you?ll improve your chances of conception.
