Symptoms

Hepatitis D may make the symptoms of hepatitis B more severe.

Symptoms may include:

  • Abdominal pain
  • Dark-colored urine
  • Fatigue
  • Jaundice
  • Joint pain
  • Loss of appetite
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting

Signs and tests
  • Anti-delta agent antibody
  • Liver biopsy
  • Liver enzymes (blood test)
