Symptoms
  • Fever or rash from the drug
  • Itching
  • Nausea
  • Pain in the upper right part of the abdomen
  • Very dark urine
  • Very pale stools
  • Vomiting
  • Yellow skin or eyes (jaundice)

Signs and tests
  • Serum alkaline phosphatase
  • Serum bilirubin
  • Ultrasound examination of the abdomen
