  • Headaches

  • Vision problems
  • Weakness of the legs and arms that gets worse

Signs and tests

Tests may include:

  • Brain biopsy (rare)
  • Cerebrospinal fluid test for the JCV
  • CT scan of the brain
  • Electroencephalogram (EEG)
  • MRI of the brain
