Rickettsial pox

Treatment:

The goal of treatment is eradication of the infection. Medications used include chloramphenicol, tetracycline and doxycycline.


Expectations (prognosis):

Full recovery is expected.


Complications:

There are usually no complications if the disorder is treated.
