Some complications associated with breast reduction surgery are bleeding, infection, and anesthesia complications. There may also be temporary bruising, swelling, some permanent scarring (which can often be hidden by a bra or bathing suit), loss of nipple sensation, and inhibited or compromised ability to breast feed.
