Definition:

Sodium hypochlorite is achemicalcommonly found in bleach,water purifiers,andcleaning products.

Swallowingsodium hypochlorite can lead to poisoning. Breathing sodium hypochlorite fumes may also cause poisoning, especially if the product is mixed with ammonia.
