Cervix surgery; Cryosurgery - female

Risks for any surgery are:

• Bleeding
• Infection

Other risks include:

• Scarring (cervical stenosis), which may make it more difficult to get pregnant, or cause increased cramping with menstrual periods. However, cryosurgery causes very little scarring.
