No harmful bacteria are found.
What abnormal results mean
An abnormal finding means that harmful bacteria has been found in the tissue sample. This may include organisms that cause inflammation of the stomach and intestines such as:
- Campylobacter
- Entamoeba
- Giardia
- Helicobacter pylori
- Salmonella
