Abnormal results may be due to:
- Heart valve disorders
Pericardial effusion -
Tumor of blood vessels or pericardium (around the heart) Atrial myxoma - Heart problems that you are born with, such as
pulmonary atresia - Scarring of heart muscle
- Damage or death to the heart muscle, seen after a
heart attack
