Normal Values
In a normal test, the tissues are normal and there is no growth of bacteria, viruses, or fungi if a culture is performed.
What abnormal results mean
- Bacterial, viral, or fungal lung infection
- Cancerous cells (
lung cancer , mesothelioma) Pneumonia
