Tuberculosis of the lungs

Tuberculosis is a contagious bacterial disease that starts in the lungs, but may spread to other organs. Tuberculosis may develop after inhaling infected droplets sprayed into the air from a cough or sneeze of someone infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
