    Signs and tests

    The health care provider will do a physical exam and rule out other possible causes of seizures. Blood pressure and breathing rate will be checked and monitored.

    • Creatinine
    • Hematocrit
    • Uric acid
    • Liver function
    • Platelet count
    • Protein in the urine
