Meet Dr. Jay Motola

Dr. Motola is a urologist with interests in urologic oncology, minimally invasive urology, urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction.

Jay Motola, M.D., F.A.C.S. has been practicing general urology since 1992. He has particular interests in urologic oncology, minimally invasive urology, urinary incontinence, and erectile dysfunction. He is the director of Urologic Oncology at Putnam Hospital (Carmel, NY). From 1999-2005 he served as the chairman of the department of Surgery at Putnam Hospital . He is the author of numerous articles in professional peer reviewed journals. He is currently investigating the use of LH/RH agonists in the treatment of advanced prostate cancer. He is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Urogical Association, Endourology Society, American Medical Association and the Medical Society of the State of New York. He was recently appointed to the Young Urologist Committee of the American Urological Association.
