Thanks for that. It's about the first sensible essay I've read so far on this sensitive topic. For me, I'm pretty sure my husband's ED is not based on a physical problem. He is a very diminuitive man with a proportionally sized penis and I believe he has probably endured this embarrassment all hisl life, and certainly all his sexually active life.

In most of the erectile dysfunction forums, it is rarely mentioned that men with small penises suffer any more or less from it but I can't believe it isn't terribly common. After a year and a half of being together our sex life has all but shut down. He seems to have no desire (I don't even know if he masturbates in secret or whether he has completely lost all libido, poor darling) and if I ever mention it might be nice to have sex some time again, or start kissing amorously, he manages to change the subject or say something 'cutesy' about a cat or dog, to really take the sex out of the conversation. It's really becoming pathological. I'm staring down the barrel of a sexless marriage, which doesn't thrill me particularly. I knew he was going to be small and that would be OK if he was just, well, hard. His other lovelmaking techniques are not terribly advanced and it's getting to be more of a challenge to try and be creative with how I guide him or broach any subject concerning our sex life without risking making him feel ashamed or inadequate.
