As the penile prostheses become more advanced (associated with more pieces), so do the operations necessary to place them. Unfortunately, the possible complications associated with them increase as well. Each surgeon must have a thorough conversation with their patients informing them of their option...
I had a recent implant (3 piece) and had lots of post swelling in the penis and scrotum-- The swelling has subsided but a hematoma has developed in the scrotum as large as a chicken egg covering the pump device. I'm not sure all the pain and complications are worth it
