I am in my 40s and recently I faced as well as many other men in the world with a problem of Erectile Dysfunction that is the inability of a man to achieve and maintain an erection. When it happened at the first time I didn’t pay the proper attention to it, thinking that it was because of the banal tiredness. But then it began to happen more frequently and I fell into panic. I didn’t know what to do till today. When I opened my eyes in the morning today, I decided to calm down and to act instead of complaining about how awful my life is. First of all, I made a decision to find as more information about this disease as possible and to study symptoms, risks and causes of erectile dysfunction, because without such knowledge I can’t assert that I have exactly this disease. Besides, if I have to visit a doctor, I will be prepared for it, that in its turn can help speed my return to normal. So, I found out the following: I was right when decided not to panic. Most men experience this at some point in their lives. Incidence of the disorder generally increases with age. About 5% of men suffer from Erectile Dysfunction in their 40s and 15-25% of men by the age of 65. We may speak about Erectile Dysfunction only in the case if we have problems with the erection for a long period of time (at least, for 3-6 months). The Erectile Dysfunction may be of the two types: organic (when there are some malfunctions in your organism) and psychological (connected with the features of your psychology). The following symptoms are typical for the Organic Erectile Dysfunction: a gradual beginning, spontaneous erection at night is absent, a normal libido and ejaculation, systematic Erectile Dysfunction under any circumstances. For the Psychological Erectile Dysfunction are typical: a sudden beginning, spontaneous erection at night remains, problems in relationship, problems with erection under certain circumstances. So, as sexual health is an important part of the whole human health and defines the quality of human somatic and personal, psychological, emotional, intellectual and sotial functions, I must analize the symtomps I have and study causes of Erectile Dysfunction. I’ll write my conclusions and decisions on treatment after thinking them over.
