Hi PJ,

As a 40 year old who has always taken frequent and good erections for granted, and now finds myself in the same boat - all i can say is don't panic.

there are so many options now - viagra is not the end of the world and worth a go.  I am pretty sure that my problems are stress related and physiological.  I also think that over stimulation with internet porn can reprogram your brain in a negative way.

In my case, I had a relationship with a beautiful woman that i was embarrased to have ED with for the first time. this resulted in performance anxiety that was self perpetuating - all i could think about was my lack of erection.  A dose of Viagra enabled me to realise that it was pstcological and not physical and things are better.

However if you haven't already, at 43 get your self a mid-life service, just like you would a car.  Get everything checked out with a full physical and make sure there isn't a more serious underlying cause to your problem.

Eitherway, don't stress it - there is now so much in the public domain about ED it's almost uncool NOT to have had it at some point in your life ;)

Best of luck

I think it's about time to find yourself a new doctor who treats your concern seriously and you as a human being!

Hi Mick,

I agree with the other two guys who posted responses to your question.

1) If your doctor is not being responsive, get a new doctor.  I agree 100%.  You should have a full physical and have your testosterone levels checked and your thyroid as well.  Both can cause ED.

ED is either physical or mental.  Since you are in good health your issue may be more mental.

As one of the posters mentioned, stress and anxiety can cause ED.  I am 45, and last year, I was under a lot of stress and anxiety from work.  This caused me major stress/anxiety/insomnia.  My doctor just prescribed meds, which did no good and caused my ED.

I found a natural solution called releasing, which cured my stress/anxiety and insomnia naturally within one week.

I host a men's health website called menshealthcures.com, which offers natural solutions for men's health issues.

Thanks,  Ken

Hi Mick,

Thanks for your reply and glad to see you are still on the hunt for a cure.

ED is either due to physical or mental issue.

The physical issues that can cause ED are:

1) heart disease

2) Diabetes

3) obesity

4) thyroid condition

5) low testosterone

Has your doctor checked you for these conditions?  If no or not all, get all these checked.  This will help you determine if the issue is physical.

Even if the issue is physical, the stress of dealing with this can add to the issue.

Have you considered eastern or spititual healers?  They can do amazing work and can evaluate your body for imbalances western medicine does not.

If you click the link to men's health cures, I can help you locate books on natural ED cures.

I think you are on the right track.

Regards,

Ken Weiss
