my husband is a young 65yr old and concerned that the amount of semen is decreasing. he's very active, healthy. we have a very active sex life. could this be a symptom we should be concerned about?
Gayle - While decreased semen production can indicate a blockage of some kind it is not uncommon with increasing age. If the change has been abrupt it may be wise to consult a physician. If it has been more gradual it may not be anything to worry about. Nonetheless, any change in physical functioning that is a worry or concern is a perfectly good reason to ask for a consult with his primary physician or an urologist.
