Hi s.rahee,

There are a couple shareposts online written by the resident experts that address this issue and issues similar to this one in young people like yourself. While online sites are great places to get information to help you ask all the right questions when you see your doctor, they can not take the place of your doctor's solid medical advice. If you think you are having a medical issue that needs to be addressed, you should see your doctor.

Here is a link to a posting that describes erectile dysfunction. Dr Jay Motola discusses a similar issue with a young man in this question and answer forum.

There is also something called situational erectile dystfunction that affects men who are younger. Dr David Knowles has written an article about it after he got a question from a 22 year old with a very familiar problem to yours. You can can read the entire message here. BrendanS also gives a link or two to a young man that will help explain some of the symptoms of ED and the suggestions for seeing a doctor.

Online sites are great places to find the information you need to ask all the right questions, but they can not take the place of your doctor's sound medical advice. If you think you have an injury or an issue that needs medical advice, you should probably see a doctor.

There is alot of information here that you might find helpful. You can read about erectile dysfunction, the causes and conditions here. There is also a good article here called The Ten Tips for Men's Sexual Health.

Stress can cause erectile dysfunction as listed here in the symptoms checker. You can read more about causes and symptoms here. You can also read about stress and lifestyle issues that can cause erectile dysfunction here. John Riddle also wrote a very good article about how to tell when it's erectile disfunction. You can read that article here.

I hope you find something in this information helpful. Please stay in touch and let us know how you and the boyfriend are doing!
