Q: My husband had a radical retropubic prostatectomy. He is feeling fine and the blood in his urine was almost gone and then there were some clots and his urine is back to blook in it. Is this normal

Shortly after undergoing a radical prostatectomy it would be common to see some blood in the urine. However if this bleeding is occurring after 6 weeks post-operatively, it would be wise to be seen by your Urologist.
