I worrk with caustic coda 30%. Could this cause ED?
I clean exhaust sytems for restaurants. I work at night, I use caustic soda 30%. I wear rubber boots, rubber gloves, cover shirt, long pants. Could any of this cause ED?
I'm not sure but I am wondering if you also routinely wear a mask so that you don't inhale harmful fumes which systemically might somehow impact oxygenation. Anything that lowers your blood oxygenation saturation could also impact oxygenation flow at the genital level so......that's the only explanation I can think of.

Hi TJ,
I am not sure that the work you do would directly cause erectile dysfunction, but if you are concerned, the best thing to do is make an appointment to see your doctor. While online sites are great resources for information that help you ask all the right questions when it's time to see your doctor, but they can not take the place of your doctor's sound medical advice.
Here is some information that might help you when it's time to speak to your doctor. You can read about erectile dysfunction here, the basics and what some of the causes are. The symptoms are listed here. There is a good section about coping here that might have some information you find helpful. Should you be diagnosed with ED, you can read about drugs commonly prescribed and treatments here.
Take care and stay in touch. Let us know how you are doing!
