I am 56 years old Indian, taking RAMIPRIL 5mg tabs for hypertension once a day. morning.

I have Erectile dysfunction problem.

Generally I take dinner around 8 P.M.

At what time should I take 50mg VIAGRA to have maximum effect ?

Is it more effective, taken with empty stomach ?

Is it effective if taken after 3 hours of lunch ?

Awaiting reply,

Mr. Patel - A review of some of the literature suggests that taking it on an empty stomach is most effective and that high fat meals can interfere with the effectiveness of Viagra, so you may want to avoid those. Viagra has been shown to be effective for up to 4 hours but its effectiveness appears to begin to decrease after about 2 hours. It appears that allowing approximately 1 hour after taking it will typically give the best result. Since Viagra can lower blood pressure taking it with an antihypertensive medication should always be done with your physician's knowledge and approval.
