Avodart is a medication that is generally prescribed to help with BPH, Benign Prostate Hyperplasia or enlarged prostate. It also helps decrease blockage and increase urine flow. It is possible, since Avodart achieves this by retarding the hormone 

dihydrotestosterone, that it may affect your ejaculate, but only your doctor can tell you for certain.

It is also possible you are experiencing something called retrograde ejaculation. Where the ejaculate backs up into the bladder instead of coming out. There is a very good article here about retrograde ejaculation, what it is and what some of the causes can be. While most men do not require treatment for this, there is some information about possible treatments here.  Again, only your doctor can tell you for sure.
