Q: Does my boyfriend have psychological ED or a sensation problem in his penis?

My boyfriend is 22 years old. We've been together for over a year. I love having sex with him; but unfortunately, the majority of the time he loses his erection easily. He can masturbate and climax, but only once have we had sex and he climaxed (and prior to climaxing, he was masturbating). Whenever we have risky sex, he gets hard like a rock, lasts a bit longer, and can do things he normally can't (i.e. have sex while standing). He sometimes gets so frustrated after a bad sex session that he just walks out and smokes a cigarette. Our sex sessions typically last less than a minute... He definitely knows what he needs to do to please me, but I just can't get off when he loses his erection so quickly.. We've talked about seeing a doctor, and he spoke with his cousin who is a urologist who told him he just has psychological ED. He would not prescribe him any type of medication. I know he has had anxiety issues, but I've been 100% supportive and have never complained to him once (although all his exes have in the past, including the one that cheated on him multiple times). I just want this problem to be solved... Help me please. Maybe he has a loss of sensation in his penis? He did mention that he couldn't really feel anything when going doggy style.
