Is ED meds safe for people on HB pressure med & blood thinner

My male companion: 46yrs. on high blood pressure med/blood thinner, for his Atrial fib. heart condition due to a hyperactive tyroid condition... can he take one of the above E D meds... due to his condition.. he is unable to achieve a full erection and he says its from the high blood pressure...
