Hello Anon,

I think you are asking what the body does between your eyes and your penis. One of the best ways to learn this is to know your body and how it works. There is some great information here that will help you do just that. Here is a section that will help you determine if you are experiencing erectile dysfunction or just having an off day. There is also a video here that will not only explain but illustrate some of the function of the penis.

Here is a great primer about the erectile dysfunction that will help you understand what your body is going through. If you are having symptoms that concern you, you can check those here. Once you see your doctor, if he should prescribe medication, you can read about the various medications here, their side effects and interactions. If treatment beyond medication is warranted, you can read about treatments available here.

Above all, online sites are great places for information to help you ask all the right questions, but they can not take the place of your doctor's sound medical advice. When in doubt, see your doctor.

I hope you find this information useful. Take care and stay in touch, let us know how you are doing!

Additional info: (reason for specific question.)

The reason the erections stopped is that I turned off that function.

Several years ago,I 'willed' that an erection would not occur when I was erotically stimulated - and it worked so well that I have never been able to get an erection (maybe some small amount of enlargement during very heavy petting) since.

I now want to reverse the ED and get an erection.
