Topics:Erectile Dysfunction

I was diagnosed with erectile dysfunction at 18 years old (mind you I was suffering for it a good year before actually seeking help), basically I can't get an erection full stop, besides the occasional one in the morning.  I've been to see a urologist and basically he's been little to no help, gave me some blood test and prescribed me with two different E.D. medications;  Levitra & Cialis, then sen't me packing.  The medications helped somewhat, but nothing special other than giving me a flue feeling and headaches.  I know 100 % It's not physcological, mainly cause I remember the exact moment e.d. took over my life I was a regular happy teenager, not a problem in the world then one wednesday morning I woke up and felt dead down there,  putting it down to just a one off I ignored it at first but then it carried on up until this day.  Also I have never smoked / used recreational drugs in my entire life and have always been a rather healthy eater and exercise/exercised regulary.  Now I just don't know where to go from here? I really can't understand what caused it and really want a solution in one form or another, because as you can imagine it's really ruined any chance of having a decent relationship and my pride as a whole.

then you saw the wrong urologist - I would do a search at a local teaching university hospital - get to the urology department and let the receptionist know why you need an appointment with a urologist who specializes in erectile dysfunction in young males.  If they don't have the person on staff they will usually be helpful in finding a referral for you.  This is a serious quality of life issue - not to be taken lightly - and I would want you to know if it is due to a mild - moderate - severe physical problem, if it is a sign of other disease and the best therapy that fits your needs.  Do not allow one urologist who "threw it back at you " which can sometimes happen in the world of medicine to sideline you.  Good luck!!
